Every year I try to post what my life was like in the year, the ups and downs and what I hope to accomplish next year! I did one for my life in 2010 and looking back it was a rough year all around, I never saw 2011 turning around for me like it did!

So what happened in 2011?

The biggest blessing was of course baby pickle, one blessing we were NOT expecting! In fact we had quit trying.. we didn’t think we could get pregnant after 4 1/2 years of marriage with nothing. We were wrong!

The site officially became my “job” and one I love dearly. There is a LOT of work that goes into running it, trust me… it’s not all sunshine and rainbows! In fact I probably work longer hours than I ever did at a full time job. There is no “quitting time” for me, I can’t walk away at 5 o’clock and forget about it until 8 the next morning… it’s a constant job. I even lay in bed thinking of ways to better the site most nights!

Even though it’s a tough job and can be a bit draining at times… it’s also my favorite thing to do and I feel very blessed to be able to do the work that I love and soon stay at home with the little pickle so I never miss a moment!

I also feel so blessed to have become “friends” with so many readers over the year! Even just chatting on Facebook I feel like I know so many of you and  it’s awesome!

What to expect in 2012?

I plan to post and share more do it yourself craft projects, I feel crafty lately and it’s one of the best ways to save money when you create something yourself!

More content with projects, coupon help and more than just deals. While deals are great and I will continue to post them I feel there needs to be more than a deal that’s available for 5 minutes!
