Delta Faucet supplied the faucet for the Ultimate Bath Re-Do event!
I was excited to work with Delta again, you may remember the previous review for the Leland Kitchen Faucet. After that I was won over, I decided that all the future faucets in our home would be Delta! So when it came time to do the bathroom re-do I knew just where to go.
First step was to decide! There are so many gorgeous faucets to choose from it was actually a hard decision to make but we finally went with the Carlisle Faucet. It was modern but not too modern, seemed to really fit the style we’re going for.

After we got the bathroom painted it was time to install the faucet! Hubby opened the package to make sure he had everything he needed for it. For me, looking at the pieces, was like a foreign language but he seemed to understand it! The faucet did come with great directions and Delta even offers video tutorials on their site for easy instillation. But of course my man, who is not a plumber, decided he didn’t need directions (ahem).
Taking out the old faucet was a bit of a challenge since it was 10 years old. But once it was out the new one was ready to go in! The parts with the new faucet were a bit easier and more functional than the old ones and the instillation was a breeze (I supervised hubby putting it in).
I honestly thought that plumbing and installing this type of hardware would be difficult but it’s really not. Just as with my Kitchen Faucet, I could have installed this one myself if needed! This “man stuff” really isn’t as difficult as it seems.
So the real question is, what do I think of the new faucet? I LOVE it! Our old one was straight out of the 90′s, a basic old fashioned model that really gave the vanity a “cheap” feel to it. The new faucet, however, gives it a classier look. I didn’t change out the sink or vanity itself, the faucet alone gave it a whole new look which is great for a budget remodel.
I love the longer necks on the delta faucets that make it easier to function with and more room in the sink itself. Along with the neck I think the finishis fantastic, we are going for a brushed look for our accessories and this fits in perfectly! It’s a gorgeous finish that isn’t overly pricey, you get an “expensive” look for a great price.
