I recently had the lovely opprotunity to review a digital scrapbooking program called Artisan 4. I have actually never used an online scrapbooking program but i’ve always seen such cute work people create with them so I was excited to try it out myself!

There are so many options as to what to create with this program, from business cards to photo albums to just simple scrapbook pages. Whether you like the basic simple stuff to going all out and really getting creative you can really do all that with this program.

I decided to first try to create a new business card for my site since, well, I need one haha. The images I used are my own but I was able to put the together easily with this program and even had some talk bubbles and tons of different text options. And with the ability to save it as a page, .png, and .jpg file it was easy to upload online to a business card service.

After that I decided to play around with the scrapbooking pages and actually had fun! I’ve tried to get into scrapbooking before but to be honest, I am much better on computer projects than I am with actual crafts. I had much more fun making it on my computer and playing with all the different options and embellishments that came with it. I did a simple page just to test it out and I think I may really get into this!

All in all I love this program! I never knew it’d be so fun and creative to capture some of our favorite memories, not to mention it’s way cleaner than me trying to mess with scissors and glue… I never had a good outcome with those.

I know there is tons more to do with this program and I have only begun to scratch the surface!

This is Yanni’s first instrumental release of original compositions in over eight years and is a return to the genre Yanni helped create and advance.

I remember my mom listening to Yanni while I was growing up (am I showing my age here or what?) and I used to think it was so boring and drab, of course this was the same time that I listened to Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys so… you know, haha. After I met my husband I started really paying attention to music more since he’s such a music lover. I’ve really begun to pay attention to the actual instruments and sound of the song not just the words.

I popped in the Yanni CD at home while I was working on my site and it was so soothing and beautiful. I actually enjoyed listening to the instrumental music over my regular country or oldies. Not to mention I was also able to concentrate on my site while listening to this in the background and not get sidetracked. I even think this is a great CD for those romantic moments, ahem.

As much as I enjoyed listening to this music my lovely mother gladly took it over, since she’s such a fan of his she was excited to see a new CD from him. I’m not sure if I’ll ever get it back to be honest with you… and if I don’t, I at least really enjoyed it while it lasted!

I even used it on hubby’s bald shaven head when he started to get a little dry around his hairline and he was satisfied (which is really the best response you’ll get from him, if he doesn’t hate it then that’s a good sign!). He loved the fact that it wasn’t an overly smelly perfume lotion, it was something he and I could both use.

I have always been a fan of Purex, even when I don’t have a coupon (which is rare, but it happens) my go to brand on Detergent is even Purex. But even though I go with their Detergent I’ve actually never tried their softener and definitely never tried the Purex Complete Crystals.
