What did you end up doing for the Super Bowl this year? I have to be honest… hubby and I forgot all about it! We didn’t even realize till late that evening that it was that day. But in all fairness, we are not major Football fans, I only like the Super Bowl for the commercials.

We are however big into my husband’s christian band, Radio 7. I try to go to most of his shows with him and it has become a major part of our life, and so have the band member’s and their families. This is one group of people I want to throw a gathering for and get together with, it’s always a good time.

I can remember as a teenager renting from all these video stores and taking weeks to turn a movie back in. What happened then? Late fees! Of course as a teen I never actually paid the late fees, no, I left that for my dad to do. Needless to say we did not hold accounts long with these companies because he was tired of paying so much money for one movie.

When my husband and I got married I reverted to going to these $1 kiosks to rent movies over night, I did better returning them because, well let’s face it, it was my own money at that point! But it was always such a hassle to run to the store as soon as I got off work to return the DVD on time.

Soon after, we discovered Netflix and have never looked back! We started off with their two week trial, but after a week we were so impatient we went ahead to a pay account so we could get more DVDs. (We had cut off our cable at the time). Now we are back down to one DVD out at a time and love it. And for only $9 a month you can’t beat that! Plus you get live streaming of tons of movies.

And now Netflix has recently got even better, they live stream to the PS3 (which is what we own). This means that hubby and I can now catch up on all of the shows we love and some we have recently started watching and use the Live Stream to catch up on the series (like The Office, we love that show now!).

And it is a breeze to set up you movie list (que). You can list as many movies as you want to and change the order whenever you feel like. I like to search movies on Netflix when they are first coming out in Theater and “Save” them so that when they come out to rent they are automatically added to my que.

All in all, I do not think I will ever go without Netflix. It costs so little and we get so much from it.

So I am fresh and new to the blogging world and decided what better way to get some readers than a giveaway!

First I’ll tell a little about myself. I am 24 years old, married 2 1/2 years to my best friend and amazing husband, Scott. We have two dogs and a cat who thinks he’s a dog, no kids yet. We both work full time jobs to support our habit of home ownership and paying bills.
