The spreadsheet includes columns for product description, sale price, coupon values, number of coupons and what your total will be for each set of items. The math is done automatically for you, no need for a calculator.
At the bottom of the spreadsheet you will see a total before tax, a box to enter your local tax rate (currently defaulted to 6%) and what your total will be out the door after tax.
Please note that the total after tax adds up the total sale price NOT the price after coupons, you are taxed on your total before coupons in store.

Am I not doing something right when I downoad this file? It keeps telling me windows can’t read the file. I have Excel so it should be no problem, right?
I know you put a great deal of time and effort into this and I look forward to being able to use it and show other just how much one can save!
Thanks,
Wanda
Wanda, it may be because I have the latest version of Excel 2010. Sometimes the new versions don’t work on older ones (if you have an older one). I am looking into getting it put online also so those without excel can download it. I’ll update when I have that going!
Thank you!
I don’t know if it was supposed to or not but it had me to download the Windows Office 2010 before I could see your link. I’m not sure if that was supposed to happen or not or what the repercussions will be if it was a mistake. I was able to change the tax on mine to 7% which is for our state. Thank you though for all the time it took to make this. It’s going to help a lot with couponing.

This was created with the latest 2010 version so if you didn’t have that, it may require you to download it. I am currently trying to have it available online without Excel being needed so anyone can access it. Glad you got it working though!
I just want to thank you so much for sharing these! Anything that can help me organize it very much appreciated!
Thank you!
Thanks for posting this! It will be a tremendous help.
Just to possibly help those that don’t have 2010, have you tried to save it down to a 97-2003 Excel? I have 2010, and know I can do that if you need help.
Since I don’t have Excel, I cannot use this. I use Google Docs, which is free. I would think a lot of frugal people would use free.
I am currently trying to find a way to share it online, however, with Google Docs if I upload it there and share it when one person changes/adds text it will show up for everyone. So Google Docs will not work but thank you for the suggestion.
Hi, try downloading Open Office, it is free and compatible with Microsoft Office files:

I think it would be great to have this as a free app. The only internet I have is on my phone, but I think I may have to get the internet so I can use this. I am new to coupons and I freak out when I go shopping and not knowing what I’m going to pay out of pocket. Thanks for all your hard work in helping people find deals, you do a wonderful job!!!
Norton keeps removing the extractor for me, saying it is unsafe.
It may be your settings, this file is uploaded by me directly to my site so there should be no issues.
Thanks for this template… I just started couponing about a month ago and was looking for a more organized way to put together my couponing shopping list and this worked perfectly!!!!
