Here’s an awesome Sewing 911 online course being offered for FREE by Craftsy! If you’re like me you may own a sewing machine (I have my grandmother’s antique one) but I have no clue how to use it! I’ve tried to figure things out on my own but I end up breaking something each time and with baby Chloe on the way I want to learn how to sew little patterns and outfits for it!
To find the online course just sign up for Craftsy and go to Online Classes -> Sewing -> Find the Sewing 911 course to sign up!

I finally broke out my sewing machine after storing it away since Xmas’10. I have wanted to make a quilt for each of my kids before they were born and with my third on the way in July I decided to teach my daughter to sew and my son to cut and we are (HOPEFULLY!!!) making a quilt for this baby finally.
If nothing else we are going to make a couple taggie blankets with material each of my older kids pick out for their new brother- kind of a special gift from them to him. All of this guided, directed, and supervised by me of course.
