Peanut Shell Car Seat Cover Review & Giveaway!

I recently had the chance to review the Peanut Shell Car Seat Cover in Boho Chic and I am absolutely in love!

Now I will start off by saying that using this product may void your car seat warranty as most car seat makers will not cover after market products. This is typical of most manufacturers so use your own judgement when checking out this cover or any other.

I decided with our current car seat that I wanted a cover that was easy to remove and wash for those mishaps of spills, spit ups and all the fun stuff that comes along with baby. I didn’t want to have to disassemble our current car seat every time it needed a wash as it really is a lot of work (trust me.. we did it after we bought it). So I thought that having a cover would make things so much easier and we could just take it off, throw it in the wash and replace it. Simple.. easy.. and exactly what I want as a first time mama!

After checking out a few online I came across Peanut Shell and fell in love with their patterns, especially the Boho Chic one above! I am all about browns and swirls patterns, no so much a fan of pink. Plus even though baby Chloe is a girl.. I didn’t want to surround her in nothing but pink items so I chose the more neutral pattern.

It was easy to assembly once I figured out how to work our car seat. Hubby originally took off the main cover when we bought it so I had no idea what I was doing when I went to mess with things. Now if you’re a normal person you may actually read the instructions that come along with it… myself, however, just grabbed the cover and went to work figuring I could do it myself. Well I did… after a good 20 minutes of fiddling around and almost breaking a few parts haha. Now that I know how it works the assembly is super easy but I do suggest reading the instructions and saving yourself some needless frustration!

All in all I am super happy with the cover and love the idea of being able to throw it in the wash easily and without fuss because babies are messy things, haha!
