Closet Organizer USA Review & Giveaway

Build your custom closet organizers online for walk-in closets, reach-in closets, pantry shelving, linen closets, office shelving, or any other area of the home or office that needs organizing.  Closet organizers are growing in popularity and are being promoted by personal organizers and interior designers as a “must have” for your home.

By now you’ve seen my post on my totally unorganized closet and how simple it is to design your own from ClosetOrganizersUSA.com. But what about installing it and the finished product?

Our closet system came delivered by an 18 wheeler (I got some weird looks by the neighbors, haha) and was actually delivered on a pallet wrapped up well so that it didn’t get damaged in the move or delivery. Everything was packaged together so the correct boards were easy to find.
I was so excited to get this started! But first thing first, we had to remove our old shelving. And do you know.. for some simple cheap wire shelving it left 20 holes in my closet?! I couldn’t believe it! Our closet looked horrible once the old stuff was removed, so bad that we had to putty over some huge holes and let it dry before we put the new in. (The size of these holes amaze me)
I was proud of hubby he actually read the directions thoroughly before starting this and made sure to organize all the screws and such that were sent with the system. The coolest thing about this, I thought, was the way the boards came marked so there is no guessing as to what goes where. It was all laid out very nicely and even had a diagram for our specific closet, so technically I could of even put this baby up, though probably not as quick as him. But that’s what I have a hubby for, haha.
Onto to instillation : First thing first was to measure and mark the walls for the bar that holds the system up. According to hubby it was easy from here on out, before I knew it he had pieced the first shelf together and had it up! It fit absolutely perfect you can definitely tell it was made to fit for our wall.

While I was putting the drawer handles on (see, I did something!) he was hanging the other hanging bar and shelf system. It went on so easy and quick at that point I couldn’t wait to see the finished product. To test it out I put some shirts up to see if the shelves were at the right position and they were, but the best part about it is I can easily move the shelves and the bars anywhere on the system. It has holes pre-made all down it so you can change it up at anytime.

The finished product :

I am amazed at how fantastic it looks compared to my old system!

Before :                                             After :

The room we now have in it is a huge difference. All our clothes fit on the back two racks so we can easily walk in an our without being bombarded by shirts. I was asked today what if I had a dress (which I don’t actually own any of) and the solution for that is simple, take the bottom shelf and bar out from the left side and hang it there! I love that I can move and change the system around to fit my needs as I go.

I enjoyed designing my own personal system and the customer service I received the whole time was fantastic, all my needs and questions were really met. I loved installing watching hubby install the system and how easy it really was. But most of all I LOVE the finished product! It looks 10 times better than it did before and gives it that nice clean organized look I was going for.

The system I installed is $965.53

Okay so my biggest issue is my girls room. I think I figured it out though. They are to short to reach their cloths in their closet but like to fend for themselves (8 and 9 yrs). They have bunk beds but only sleep on top. The top bed is one way and the bottom is the other way (make since?). Anyway the bottom bunk slids out so we are taking that one out and puttin in a mini walk in closet under the top bunk. It will be just their size. The Large Rattan Basket (with slides) – 16" Deep would really help. I plan on taking out their dresser so they have more room and the baskets would be for socks and undies……….Longest entry ever sorrykidpack05 at yahoo dt com

My closet problem it that every time my husband gets dressed all his pants seem to end up in a heap on the floor (I fold them and put them on top shelf). The Deluxe Pants Rack (with slides) would really eliminate this problem as he would be able to see all his pants at once and he wouldn't have to sift through them all to find the ones he wants.
