I have been so excited to do a review/giveaway with Delta Faucet. They are a great company with some amazing and gorgeous faucets! Ones that I have been drooling over ever since we bought our home last October.

For review my hubby and I decided to try out the Leland Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser. I am in LOVE with this faucet! We love the idea of the long neck on a kitchen faucet to be able to stick a pitcher or something else of that nature in the sink to fill up. And the magnetic pull down spray was a top selling point for me, I was finally able to eliminate the cheap sprayer on my old faucet and having everything I need in one!
(Please ignore the little black thing sticking out of my sink… that is where my old sprayer used to be and rather than having a hole, we just left it like that. I was not able to talk my hubby into a new sink like i’d hoped, haha)
My husband installed it yesterday for me and thanks to having such a wonderful handy man, he had no major issues. Everything went smooth and turned out beautifully. I did tell him that Delta has some great how to videos to help out if he needed it, but he is a hard headed man and decided to do it himself, so I let him work his magic.
What do I think about the Leland Faucet?
Like I already said… I am in LOVE with it, I cannot stress that enough! But one of my favorite aspects of it is the gorgeous design. My kitchen area is rather small and this just bring it out, maybe it’s me being in love or awed but every time I walk into my kitchen now it’s the first thing I notice.
The magnetic pull down head is probably my favorite feature of it, that was a must have when we were looking at faucets. It pulls out with ease and will stretch everywhere in my sink I need it to for whatever i’m doing and goes right back in with ease. With my old faucet and sprayer I literally had to fish the line back down to put the sprayer back in, I don’t have to worry about that with this.
The long neck, as I already mentioned, is another favorite (I have a lot of favorites about this faucet). I make sweet tea almost every day in our house, using a gallon pitcher. With my old faucet I had to wiggle the pitcher under to fill it up and be careful not to spill anything as I wiggled it back out. Pain in the rear! Now? My tea pitcher doesn’t even touch the faucet and I love that!
Everything about this faucet is a favorite for me, I guess. From the faucet itself to the easy to flip handle to the nifty soap dispenser that sits right in my sink, so no more messy soap bottles sitting around getting knocked over. All in all this is an amazing faucet and exactly what I have been dying for since we bought our home. My next step will be to purchase a faucet & shower head when we remodel our master bath!

I think the one you have is perfect. I like the Leland Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser because of the magnetics and because it would be so much easier to fill big pots.

I'm having a hard time deciding between the Leland Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser or the Linden Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Spray.mightynaynay(at)cs.com
I purchased a new delta 955RB -DST in Jan 2011. This faucet has been far more inferior than all of the delta faucets I have ever owned. They, in the name of the lead free code, totally eliminated the brass from a large part of their products. This was a mistake… Their price increased instead of decreasing. They try to convince you that the new diamond technology is the reason for the increase…this is hogwash. Rest assured their profits are larger than ever…cause the costly brass was replaced with…..PLASTIC {pex}. They have seemed to pull this off so far…..because of their strong name. Delta please give us the quality you are known for…not the sub-standard quality that I am currently experiencing. Im not against Delta just greatly disappointed
